Lia Sunarjo, general manager of Y&R Indonesia confirmed the news and said that the bank was impressed by the brand idea presented by the agency.
“We are very excited by Bank Permata’s plans since they will be going against the norm for their advertising.”
PermataBank had called the pitch for three products including e-banking, savings and credit cards but it decided to consolidate its entire account with Y&R .
Incumbent DDB had handled the PermataBank account for more than a year. Prior to that, the account was divided among sixteen agencies.
