Perez to leave OMD Phillipines to retire

MANILA - OMD Philippines is on the lookout for a new head following the retirement of Ador Perez, its chief operating officer, who spent three years with the agency.

Hermie De Leon (pictured), president and CEO of Omincom Media Group Philippines will oversee both the OMD and PHD’s operations in the meantime.

“We’re looking for somebody who can grow the business, bring OMD to the next level and be a good mentor, too,” said De Leon. “Jim Goh, regional MD of OMD Southeast Asia, has been very supportive in my role running both networks. We’re planning to house OMD and PHD in one building with separate floors, so that they can be run independently.”

Perez, who oversaw the launch of OMD Philippines, is retiring after 20 years in the media business.
