Pe, who was believed to be mulling a start-up following his departure from DDB sister agency Rapp Collins in July last year, returns to the network where he spent 11 years in the Philippines.
”I want DDB to be known as a hub for creative ideas and boost its image as one of Malaysia’s most effective agencies,” he said.
Prior to DDB, Pe spent 10 years at McCann Erickson Philippines, after stints at Bates, Leo Burnett and JWT. He has won awards at numerous international shows including New York Festivals and the London International Advertising Awards.
“Roger’s credentials as ECD at DDB Philippines meant his move would be a lateral one,” said Florence Loh, CEO of DDB International.
