Ormes departs Singapore for DraftFCB NY

Ex-Publicis Singapore creative Tom Ormes is to relocate to DraftFCB New York, where he will become senior writer and VP at a creative department led by his former ECD Rodd Chant.

Ormes (pictured), who departed his position as head of copy at Publicis in May of this year, will become senior writer and VP at DraftFCB New York. He will report again to Chant, who became ECD and EVP of the office after similarly leaving Publicis earlier this year (Media, 13 April).

At DraftFCB New York, he will work on Diet Coke, Kraft and Starbucks, among others. Ormes spent two years in Singapore, which included freelance stints at RedCard, Batey and Interface KL.
