Orang Tua Group hands business to Saatchi & Saatchi

JAKARTA - Orang Tua Group (OT) has handed the creative business for its Kiranti brand to Saatchi & Saatchi in Indonesia after a five-way pitch that involved Ogilvy & Mather, Grey Advertising, TCP-TBWA and incumbent JWT.

Kiranti is a line of herbal drinks aimed at women and is promoted as helping to treat conditions such as weight loss, fatigue and muscle and menstrual pain. It is believed that Kiranti is in the process of launching a new range of products.

OT is one of the top three FMCG companies in Indonesia and produces a wide range of products for the personal care, confectionery and beverage categories. Other brands marketed in Indonesia include Formula, Tango, Oops and Vitacharm.

Saatchi & Saatchi Indonesia recently lost the creative account for Bank Negara International to DDB Advis after a three-way pitch in the final round.
