Optimedia scoops L'Oreal Singapore brief

L'Oreal has reportedly awarded media buying and planning duties for its Singapore consumer products division - worth S$7 million - to Optimedia, following a review that also included Universal McCann and Maxus. Universal previously handled the bulk of the range, which includes such brands as Maybelline and L'Oreal Paris, with Optimedia tasked with Garnier. Maxus remains media agency for L'Oreal's luxury products division. A L'Oreal Singapore spokesperson declined comment, noting that any arrangements will only activate in January 2006.
