One-to-one Marketing: KLM, rediff.com tie up for online cricket contest

NEW DELHI: Dutch airline KLM has launched an online competition, The Holland High Fliers, on the back of a recent cricket tournament featuring teams from India, Pakistan and Australia in Amstelveen, Holland.

This is the first time KLM has associated an online promotion with cricket.

The contest is featuring on Indian portal rediff.com.

Gerard Rodrigues, marketing and revenue manager, KLM Northwest Airlines (India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Bhutan), said: "The objective is to use the opportunity presented by the Holland cricket series (which took place from August 21 to 28) to promote the home carrier KLM and our partner Northwest Airlines in the Indian market. In addition to the Holland High Fliers contest, we are sponsoring the complete Holland series coverage in the cricket section on Rediff.com."
