ONE-TO-ONE MARKETING: Coke adds offline events in revamp of Indian website

NEW DELHI: Coca-Cola India has revamped its www.myenjoyzone.com website as part of ongoing efforts to leverage the internet as a promotional channel and virtual community tool.

The site will carry localised content such as on-ground promotions running in conjunction with offline initiatives, as well as regular updates on Coca-Cola's India operations. "To launch the site, the on-ground promotion with former Miss World Aishwarya Rai starrer 'Kuch Na Kaho' (a new Bollywood movie) is simultaneously running on the website and users can participate in the promotion online," said Carlton D'Silva, creative director of Virtual Marketing, which redesigned the website.

Coca-Cola has also introduced a new concept 'virtual online city' to increase interactivity and to provide web users with a personalised experience.

"We had accomplished what we had set out to do with the previous website - develop a loyal community."
