Omnicom shops win rail merger brief

HONG KONG - Rail companies MTR and KCRC have selected DDB and OMD Hong Kong to handle creative and media respectively for their high-profile merger, expected to take place by the end of this year.

It’s understood that DDB and OMD edged several other combined agency offerings led by Ogilvy & Mather, Bates and JWT respectively for the business, which is estimated at US$4 million.

DDB and OMD declined to comment.
