Omnicom promotes Creative Juice duo and plans expansion

BANGKOK - Omnicom has signaled its intention to expand its Creative Juice brand beyond Southeast Asia with the promotion of Witawat Jayapani (pictured right) and Thirasak Tanapatanakul (pictured left) to the role of co-chairman.

Witawat, now CEO of Creative Juice\G1 Thailand, and Thirasak, ECD, will take on extra responsibility to export the agency brand beyond Southeast Asia and into markets outside Asia-Pacific. Keith Smith, international president of Creative Juice's mother brand, TBWA, said: “We are delighted that Witawat and Thirasak have agreed to this wider brief.

Creative Juice is a brand that we are very proud of and are looking at new markets to expand its footprint. We need to ensure that its great creative performance that has happened in Thailand is mirrored around the world.”

Creative Juice launched in Bangkok in 2002, and has since opened in Malaysia and the Philippines.

The dual promotion is welcome news for the headquarters of Creative Juice, which imposed a recruitment freeze in September in response to Thailand's tough economic climate (Media, 5 September).
