Olympics advertisers strike integrated marketing deal with TVB

HONG KONG - TVB has struck "beyond airtime" integrated marketing deals with seven brand owners in a move designed to boost their visibility during the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Coca-Cola China, Lenovo, Manulife, Hong Kong Disneyland, Megabox Mall, EMax, and China South International Industrial Materials City have formed a marketing alliance with TVB known as the "TVB Beijing 2008 Mega Broadcast Partner".

Jordan Lau, head of strategic development, marketing and sales division, TVB, said: "TVB is the official Olympic Broadcasting company in Hong Kong, and this deal will drive more lively integrated Olympic marketing campaigns by leveraging our respective strengths and resources not only in terms of TV airtime, but also using TVB artistes, production expertise, and material supply."
