Oldest Australian PCO looks to it 40th year

SYDNEY Australia's oldest professional conference company, ICMS Australasia, celebrates its 40th birthday in 2006.

Founded by former Qantas executive, Ken Scheller, Bryan Holliday now owns the Sydney based company. Holliday was the inaugural national president of the Meetings Industry Association of Australia (now MEA) and has been involved with the conference and events sector for 30 years. ICMS Australasia has a diverse client base from the association, corporate and government sectors but is best known for its management and production of international medical and scientific congresses. In early November the company welcomed over 5,000 neurologists to the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.
