OgilvyOne picks Nestle executive for chairmanship
<p>TOKYO: OgilvyOne Worldwide has appointed Keiichi Hiraoka, 64, </p><p>chairman of OgilvyOne in Japan, where he will work alongside Keizo </p><p>Yamamoto, the unit's managing director. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Hiraoka joins from Nestle Japan, a growing Ogilvy client, where he was </p><p>communications director looking after all the marketing communication </p><p>functions until retirement earlier this year. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>While at Nestle, Hiraoka helped implement a corporate CRM programme, one </p><p>of the first such initiatives by an FMCG marketer in Japan. His new role </p><p>will include training and contributing to business development. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>CRM is playing an increasing role in the development of OgilvyOne's </p><p>business in Japan. It recently bought a stake in Japan's largest </p><p>independent data services company, Landscape, which collects Japanese </p><p>consumer information. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
