OgilvyOne China launches WOM service

BEIJING - OgilvyOne China has launched a digital word-of-mouth tracking system and a Digital Lab to bolster its online offering in the mainland market.

The word-of-mouth programme, called OBuzz, was created to monitor online conversations across Chinese social media including forums, blogs and social media sites to track discussions surrounding brands and their competitors and to supply an instantaneous view on consumer sentiment related to a product or category.

Co-launched with Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, OBuzz has already serviced clients including adidas and GSK.

OgilvyOne has also expanded its Digital Lab network to China via its launch in Beijing. The lab acts as a digital showroom that displays digital innovations for clients to examine the agency’s latest innovations surrounding branded digital platforms, including mobile applications, games and mobile websites.

Ogilvy currently has Digital Labs set up in Singapore, Tokyo, London, New York and Sao Paolo.
