Ogilvy revamps Japan operation with Blair's move

<p>TOKYO: Ogilvy & Mather has restructured its Japan operations by setting </p><p>up new divisions to house separate communications disciplines, similar </p><p>to the organisational structure it has in place in other parts of </p><p>Asia. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>O&M regional chairman Miles Young said: "After more than five years in </p><p>the country, we've now got to the stage of maturity where we need to </p><p>give the agency more organisation and management attention." With the </p><p>change, regional director of strategy Mark Blair has been named managing </p><p>director of O&M Advertising Japan; Tim Solomon, formerly O&M Japan's MD, </p><p>has been tapped for the country chief role; and Keizo Yamamoto has been </p><p>appointed OgilvyOne MD. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
