Doswell has been groomed for the MD role since he was appointed as general manager in January 2006.
“Although my day-to-day duties will be pretty much the same, it’ll be nice to have more of a say in the running of Ogilvy as a member of the operations board,” said Doswell.
He joined RedCard six years ago when the agency launched, as project director, and worked in partnership with David Mayo, now VP of Ogilvy & Mather Advertising Asia Pacific.
