Ogilvy PR reappointed by BFA

BEIJING - Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) has reappointed Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide to manage its annual conference of Asian and global leaders.

The agency was appointed for the third consecutive year without a pitch.

BFA, an NGO, has been organising an annual meeting of high-profile leaders from politics, business and academia since 2001. The four-day event this year will kick off on 16 April, on the island of Boao in the Southern tip of China.

"The challenge for us is to help make the forum as relevant and valuable to these executives as possible, and to effectively communicate BFA's value proposition to these leaders," said Scott Kronick, president of Ogilvy & Mather Group Beijing and Ogilvy PR China.

WPP's CEO Sir Martin Sorrell will also attend the event as a panellist this year.
