Ogilvy names Mouritzen for B2B role

SINGAPORE - In a move to better capitalise on the region's B2B opportunities, Ogilvy has appointed regional business director Thomas Mouritzen to fill the newly created position of regional consultant at OgilvyBusiness.

Under the supervision of OgilvyOne Asia Pacific COO Jerry Smith, Mouritzen will drive business development with existing business-to-business and global brand companies, focusing on small and medium-sized businesses and mid-market clients and prospects.

Mouritzen will also introduce Sales Acceleration, a new service designed to narrow what Ogilvy notes is a widening rift between sales and marketing functions within organisations.

The service will emphasise consistency and aim to sustain growth by optimising sales capability.
