TOKYO - Former Batey ECD Marcus Jackson (pictured) has been appointed group ECD of Ogilvy & Mather Japan, reporting to co-chairman and chief creative officer Akira Odagiri.

Jackson left Batey in November 2005 after a year as ECD, where he oversaw accounts such as Singapore Airlines and Mercedes-Benz (Media November 15, 2005).

The Australian native, who founded the Australian agency Omon, has also worked at Ogilvy and Ammirati Puris Lintas during his 25-year career.

“We have spent a long time looking for just the right person for this position,” said Odagiri.
