Ogilvy handed Tango biscuit business

JAKARTA - Tango, Indonesia's most popular biscuit brand, has awarded its creative account to Ogilvy & Mather following a four-way pitch.

Ogilvy saw off Grey, Deasphere and incumbent JWT to win the Orang Tue (OT) Group-owned brand account, and has been hired as Tango's "360 degree" agencies.

Media was not part of the pitch. The brief is to make the brand "more famous and grow sales exponentially".

Tango is part of the consumer goods company OT, which produces other popular snacks Capilano’s, Oops, Cannon Ball and Mio, as well as sanitary care products such as HoneySoft.
