Ogilvy fills Philippines ECD role

MANILA - Ogilvy & Mather Philippines has appointed Kenny Choo (pictured) to the post of executive creative director, the position vacated by Gavin Simpson in May 2007 when he was named executive creative director of Ogilvy Hong Kong.

Choo, who is a creative partner at Ogilvy Shanghai, will assume his new role on 1 October, and will report to Ogilvy & Mather Philppines chief Randy Aquino. He will also work with former Ogilvy & Mather Philippines ECD Peachy Pacquing, who recently returned to the agency as chief planner and strategist and James Bernardo, Saatchi & Saatchi Jakarta's former ECD, who joined Ogilvy Philippines as head of copy last June.

Ogilvy & Mather Philippines' clients include Unilever, Kraft, Kimberly Clark, Healthy Options and CDO-Foodsphere.
