who is not just brutally honest, but genuinely amusing with it.
And we are proud to annouce that we have found someone who fits this
description - the affable Vijay Verghese, publisher and editor of
Holiday Asia.
Admittedly, we've always had a soft spot for Vijay, inspired largely by
his endearing habit of announcing himself over the telephone by howling
like a dog.
(And while you're here, Veej, get your girl to call my girl and maybe we
could do lunch in January if we have matching windows in our Palm
Pilots, okay yah?)
Anyway.
