McCann Erickson Guangming Greater China CEO Joop Broeren endured
intense sleep deprivation to cheer on his home land, Holland, in the
recent Euro 2000 semifinal against Italy - this despite the fact that he
had just had an exhausting day celebrating the launch of Universal
McCann in Shanghai ... and Vine, more than a little worse for wear
having joined in those celebrations (and slightly distracted by those
cute little shorts the Italian team was wearing), made the mistake of
asking Joop who he'd be cheering for, and was roundly chastised.
But we had the last laugh, when Holland lost the match in penalty goals
to Italy.
