Can it be true?!

Vine is in shock, having received an email from TBWA regional CD Mike

Fromowitz, announcing his imminent departure from Asia for the Big

Apple.

When we heard from Mikey, he was in the final throes of completing a

shoot for Nivea in South Africa (oh, it's a tough life these CDs live,

for sure).

"The time has come to take on a bigger 'canvas'," he announced.

"Besides a new job, I have written a screen play, In My Dreams, which

has been bought for movie rights; I will hold an art exhibition of my

recent Singapore paintings at the Castelli Gallery in Soho; I begin

Level no. 3 horseback riding lessons in Central Park on July 1;

meditation classes July 15; and I begin writting an Asian Travellog for

CNN, which I will direct beginning February or March 2001.

"There will also be board meetings I need to attend in Toronto every

four months for my dotcom company, Blueberry Hill (which is doing very

well but has been a royal pain in the butt)."

If anyone would like to make a guess as to how much of this is truth and

how much of this is fantasy, please get in touch with us at the usual

address.
