Ocean Life was founded in 1949 and conducts its business throughout Thailand. A Japanese Insurance company Dai-ichi Mutual Life Insurance Company recently acquired some shares of Ocean Life as part of a strategic business alliance.

BANGKOK - Ocean Life, Thailand's seventh largest insurance company, has handed its creative business, worth 60 million baht (US$1.7 million), to Saatchi & Saatchi Thailand in a four-way pitch that involved Contract, U5 OK and Zing.
