Oakwood Asia-Pacific celebrates anniversary with regional photography contest

Singapore based housing corporation Oakwood Asia-Pacific is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a photography competition.

The contest, in partnership with Canon, encourages people across Asia to submit their definition of trust, Oakwood's company mantra, through photography at Trust is… Photography Competition’.

The winning photographs will be displayed in exhibitions across selected Oakwood properties in Asia during February 2011. Oakwood also aims to publish them in a limited edition postcards set.

The competition allows a maximum of two photographs per entrant until 15 November. All entries will be put up for a public vote and finalised by Howard Ruby, founder and chairman of Oakwood, and his committee.

The grand prize includes a Canon EOS camera and two round-trips to the launch of the photography exhibition. The runner ups will also receive a Canon Powershot camera.

Oakwood Asia-Pacific currently operates in China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, the Philippines and Thailand.
