Nitro picks up InBev China brand

InBev has awarded its creative duties for its Chinese Baisha Beer brand to Nitro China without a pitch, snatching the business from incumbent Lowe. <BR><BR> Nitro has been tasked with strengthening the brand in the face of rising competition from international competitors including Budweiser, and a host of local and national players, including Tsing Tao. <BR><BR> "In the past three years, global brewers have flocked to China, and currently the market is growing between five and eight per cent per annum, which is expected to continue for the next five to ten years," said Stephen Drummond, Nitro China group managing director/head of planning.
