Nissin Cup takes Grande Innova Lotus at AdFest

PATTAYA - The 11th Asia-Pacific Advertising Festival (AdFest) has concluded with Nissin Cup Noodle's "Freedom Project" campaign taking the Grande Innova Lotus, in the category designed to recognise outstanding innovation ideas for communication.

The campaign triumphed ahead of Leo Burnett Sydney’s ‘Earth Hour’, ‘Uniqlock’ - by Projector Tokyo for Casual Wear, and Sony Bravia’s ‘Color Tokyo’ by Hakuhodo Kettle Tokyo.

In the other categories, there were no Best of Shows awarded for TV, Outdoor, or 360. Best of Press went to JWT Malaysia’s ‘Oil’ ad for Scott Kitchen Towels, while Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore took home Best of Poster for Thai SPCA ‘Pet Adoption’.

GT Inc Tokyo won Best of Cyber for Sony Walkman ‘Rec You’, while Best of Radio went to Colgate 360 Toothbrush’s ‘360’ spot by Y&R Malaysia. For Direct, Leo Burnett Sydney’s Earth Hour work won best of show, while Publicis Singapore won Best of Design for its ‘Stadium’ work for Sports.

In the special categories, JWT won Network Agency of the Year, adidas was recognised as Advertiser of the Year, and Phenomena scooped Film Production Company of the Year. Other nods included Saatchis Singapore as Agency of the Year, Leo Burnett Sydney as Direct Agency of the Year and Bascule as Interactive Agency of the Year.
