Nissan appoints Bates141 in the Philippines

MANILA - Nissan Motor has appointed Bates141 as its creative agency in the Philippines following a three-way pitch against local shops AB Communications and Magnum.

The Japanese carmaker had previously engaged TBWA Santiago Mangada Puno in 2004 for the business, but the two parted ways in 2006.

Bates141 has been tasked with launching above-the-line communications for the upcoming premiere of Nissan’s Grand Livina MPV in the country.

Peter Sandor, Bates 141 Philippines’ chief executive, remarked that the new business is “a great win and demonstrates our capabilities over a whole range of disciplines.”
