NINE OF THE BEST CITY PROPERTIES

Puxi is Shanghai's business hub and home to many of the city's five-star hotels. Conference and incentive groups will be impressed by their modern touch.

Portman Ritz-Carlton
Set in the heart of Shanghai opposite the Shanghai Exhibition Centre, the 598-room

Its modern feel extends to its 5,400 sqm of meeting space, including a 900 sqm atrium and the 991-seat Shanghai Centre Theatre. The hotel will add a further 500 sqm of function space by mid-2008. Aside from its exceptional meeting facilities, the Ritz also excels in cutting-edge events. The most recent of these was a Motorola phone launch for 300 people that transformed the Ritz’s pool area into a large stage with mermaids and huge champagne glasses.
