Newsweek's Issues 2001: Trends & People to Watch in the Year
special issue hit the streets last month, pulling in 44 advertisers and
USdollars 3.5 million in gross revenue.
Advertising support came from companies across all categories, including
Sun, Microsystems, Rolex, Remy Martin, NTT DoCoMo, Cap Gemini and
HSBC.
The issue was distributed to the entire World Economic Forum delegation
of business and government leaders that met last month in Davos,
Switzerland and will be available at newstands until the end of this
month.
In all, a global distribution of 1.2 million copies of Issues 2001 will
be distributed to Newsweek's circulation in Asia, Europe/Middle East
plus targeted US subscribers.
