New website rolls out for Spikes 2007

HONG KONG The Spikes 2007 - Asian Advertising Awards - has issued a call for entries for next year's three-day gala event, to be held in Bali from 25 to 27 April, with the launch of www.mediaspikes.com.

HONG KONG The Spikes 2007 -  Asian Advertising Awards - has issued a call for entries for next year's three-day gala event, to be held in Bali from 25 to 27 April, with the launch of  www.mediaspikes.com.

Developed by RedCard Singapore, the site features a number of interactive elements, including deadline countdowns and streamed video segments.

Through interactive touchpoints, the website aims to transport users from their desks to the Indonesian tourist destination, by using real-time day and evening settings, complete with swaying palm trees. The site will also launch interactive games shortly.

A promotional campaign has been developed to accompany the website, which features the core message 'Annoyingly Hard to Win'.

Entry kits are available for download online, along with information on past winners and a highlights video.
