VENETIAN MACAU HOTEL AND RESORT
Due to open on August 28, the largest integrated resort in Macau will transform the destination’s potential as a viable meetings and conventions hub.
The Venetian will offer a phenomenal 108,340 sqm of space that includes a 15,000-seat arena, a 6,500 sqm ballroom and 74,680 sqm of exhibition space over two floors that can host 4,756 booths.
Distance from airport: A 15-minute drive from the ferry terminal or a ten-minute drive
from the airport.
Nearest hotels: The Westin is a 20-minute drive away on the other side of Coloane Island. The Mandarin Oriental is located near the ferry pier. By 2010 the Venetian will house a Four Seasons, Fairmont, Raffles Hilton, Sheraton, St. Regis and Shangri-La.
Recent clients: Among the 40 new trade shows the venue has signed is the Association
of Surplus Dealers/Association of Merchandise Dealers, which has booked the venue for a series of trade shows beginning in October 2007.
Current tennis world number one, Roger Federer, will take on the former champion, Pete Sampras, at The Venetian Macau Tennis Showdown on November 24.

MACAU TOWER AND CONVENTION CENTRE
The Macau Tower Convention and Entertainment Centre overlooks the Pearl River Delta. At 338 metres above the ground, the Macau Tower is the tenth-tallest freestanding tower in the world. The facility offers 1,800 sqm of exhibition and conference space, a 500-seat theatre, several restaurants, a shopping area as well as an outdoor plaza. Events can also be held in the tower’s
observation lounge of the Tower.
Distance from airport: It is a ten-minute drive from Macau International Airport and also
ten minutes from the ferry terminal.
Nearest hotels: The 600-room Wynn Macau is a ten-minute car ride away. The 435-room
Mandarin Oriental is nearby.
Recent clients: The Global Gaming Expo took place here in June.
