New role for Tan sparks APB reshuffle
Asia Pacific Breweries (APB) has begun a major reshuffle of its Singapore marketing department, with assistant general manager of marketing Lester Tan taking on a new regional business development role, focusing on new markets, specifically Mongolia. Tan is succeeded by Erik Van Vulpen, currently regional director at Cheil Communications, who begins his new post next month. In addition, Heineken senior brand manager David Lette has made an internal move to head up beverage sales at APB. His replacement is Desmond Tan, who joins from EAC, where he was regional brand manager on Dumex. Meanwhile, marketing manager for strong brands Melvin Lim is departing APB to become SingTel's deputy director for corporate brand.
