Offices in Malaysia and Thailand are also slated to open next year. Kevin Walsh, executive media director of independent digital shop Net-X, has joined to run the Australian office, while the hunt continues to fill the top role in Hong Kong. Also new to the network is ex-Universal McCann media strategist Bernie Bosco, who fills the regional group planning director role based in Singapore.

Yufen Chen was named director of strategy for the Beijing office, which launched in February last year. Part of Chen's role will be to oversee the integration of Century Harmony into the agency, a Beijing-based online advertising agency in which WPP acquired a 70 per cent stake in October. 'Ninety per cent of our growth in 2006 has been organic," Nazreen Madhany, global CEO of Neo@Ogilvy, told Media.

January will see Neo begin work on Kodak, a global account it won from Carat in partnership with sister agency MindShare in November.
