That's why I requested this position."

President and CEO of FCB International Rafael deGuzman, meanwhile, has been named to oversee Korea, Japan and Latin America as regional president.

David Florence, most recently the president and CEO of Draft International operations, has been named regional president for Australia, New Zealand , as well as Europe, Middle East, Africa and Canada.

"This speaks to the enormous importance of the region for us. As we build DraftFCB, we wanted to make sure we were putting high-level resources against very specific markets, rather than dilute any one person's attention and effectiveness by making only a single individual responsible for such a vast piece of geography," Howard Draft told Media. "Since China represents such tremendous growth opportunities for our multinational clients and DraftFCB, it is very important to have a member of our global leadership team helping to grow our business there."

Draft noted that the regional creative director role was still under discussion.
