New guides offer key branding opportunities

HONG KONG Tamco Holdings has released its series of Taxi Guides to help conference delegates and incentive groups negotiate their way around the streets of Asia by taxi.

The innovative Hong Kong-based company has covered Hong Kong, Macau, Shanghai and Beijing in its first series of Taxi Guides. Tamco managing director Kimberly Whiley said: "These books are great at helping people find places around the cities we cover." The hard-covered, pocket-sized guides feature hundreds of places indexed by location and destination, presented with the English name, Chinese characters and phonetic pronunciation. Other handy features include arrow stickers and page ribbons for easy bookmarking, helpful phrases and local emergency phone numbers. Train maps and shopping guides are also included. Whiley said the Taxi Guides are of great benefit to conference organisers and incentive groups because the guides can be tailor-made with a company's logo. She said: "The Taxi Guides are perfect for meetings planners because of the additional marketing exposure to the event or company they are promoting. "This is also a great advertising opportunity that will reach your delegates on a daily basis long after an event has finished. "The guides will be constantly reused by your conference attendees as well as their associates." Taxi Guides for the Pearl River Delta, Phuket, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi are scheduled for early 2007. For further details, go to www.thetaxiguide.com
