Michelle Hutton (pictured) will oversee Australasia as chief executive; Southeast Asia technology director Wong Voal has been promoted to to oversee Asia-Pacific; and Matt Overington has been hired as digital strategist in the agency’s Sydney office.
Hutton was managing director of Australia, until taking on the the newly-created position.
She is tasked with strengthening and expanding the business across the sub-region.
“This new remit will challenge [Hutton] to set a strategic direction for what Hill & Knowlton needs to do next, both in Australia and deepening the connections between Australia and regional markets in order to grow our business,” said Vivian Lines, president and COO, Asia-Pacific.
