NEW DELHI: FCB and BBDO have launched customer relationship
management services, offering internet, database management and
telemarketing capabilities.
Interpublic's FCB-Ulka Advertising has expanded its direct and
interactive units to Bangalore and Delhi after establishing similar
divisions in Mumbai.
M. G. Parameswaran, executive director of FCB-Ulka, said the agency had
initiated an extensive programme for owners of Indica vehicles, which is
the Tata Group's passenger car brand. "We have a database of 70 per cent
Indica car owners and 50 per cent are part of the Indica Club."
At the same time, RK Swamy/BBDO has established the network's Proximity
CRM unit to service Mercedes Benz, Visa, Sony and Federal Express. Its
manager Gowri Arun said the shop expanded its offering to provide
clients another weapon in the marketing mix.
