NetShelter hands online sales to Aktiv Digital

SINGAPORE - Aktiv Digital, the online sales house, has secured the advertising contract for NetShelter, the world's second largest aggregator of IT and technology websites, across 10 markets in Asia-Pacific.

The deal will give advertisers access to IT and technology websites with traffic of 30 million unique users per month in Singapore, Hong Kong, India, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and Taiwan.

NetShelter Technology Media consists of more than 100 IT and tech websites, which can be segmented by targeted group. They include IT managers, consumer electronics buyers, IT purchase decision-makers, mobile users and gamers.

"The deal covers a niche we've been looking to fill for the past six months," said Nick Fawbert (pictured), head of operations for Aktiv Group Asia-Pacific. "It's impossible to target this audience through one site alone. You have to do it through an aggregator - which is something none of our rivals in the region offer."

NetShelter is the world's second largest platform for online technology publishing, after market leader CNET.
