"I started my digital career on the media side and then moved to creative for five years. This new role will allow me to take the learnings from creative, production and strategy and bring them together with media skills for a complete offering (to clients)," said Tsui.
"Neo was launched just three months ago and part of my focus will be on business development and talent sourcing. Digital is very hot at the moment and talent is scarce. I'll be working with each market MD to search for the right people."
Tsui has held senior roles at Engage Asia and Modem Media Hong Kong during her 10-year career, and in 2004 launched the XM Beijing operation. Mandel noted: "We were very keen to retain Susana within the group. I know Susana very well and she will be the perfect fit for this regional role."
The agency has also appointed Sydney-based Vicky Argrakis as its digital media lead on IBM, Asia-Pacific as part of efforts to beef up Neo's regional team. "Vicky is also an internet pioneer who started in the digital space with Fairfax CitySearch in 1997 followed by roles with AdSociety Group, AdXplorer and Zuji," said Mandel. Prior to joining Neo@-Ogilvy, Argrakis was digital marketing director at Sole Digital, based in Singapore.
