NDN launches new 3D ad technology

HONG KONG - New Digital Noise (NDN) has developed a new 3D real-time interactive kiosk, which it hopes will alter the current focus on two-dimensional advertising.

The kiosk uses 3D interaction technology to, for example, showcase a 2D shoe catalogue on the LCD display, and enabling an individual shoe to pop up as a 3-D rendition on screen.

“Most existing ads are mainly 2-D playing with creative visuals, colours, and messages” said Keith Chow, new media manager at New Digital Noise. “This technology can help to enhance user experience and visual sensation, and engage interaction with customers.
