Sci-Fi, which launched in Japan in April and is already on-air in Australia, will be broadcast on Singapore's StarHub Digital Cable in July, as will Universal Channel which marks its Asia debut.
Further launches across the region are planned over the coming months.
The launches are part of NBC Universal's aggressive expansion plans in the region, following the recent acquisition of Sparrowhawk Media, which operates Hallmark Channel, KidsCo and Movies24.
Roma Khanna, president, NBC Universal Global Networks & Digital Initiatives, commented: "These strategic moves underscore the expansion plans of NBC Universal Global Networks and the global appeal and popularity of our channel brands."
