Nazaroff off to New York with Kantar

Annette Nazaroff, MindShare consumer insights director for Asia-Pacific, will be heading to New York with WPP's Kantar Media Research Group.

Nazaroff -- to be replaced by Intel Singapore's former market research and forecasting manager James Chadwick -- will leave Hong Kong for her new post as executive vice-president on September 16. Among her responsibilities are global operations for one of WPP's flagship research products, TGI, and the Americas division of Kantar. "It was too good an opportunity to resist," said Nazaroff. Kantar chiefs said they were keen to utilise her knowledge of syndicated media and market research issues both globally and in the US, and Nazaroff acknowledged it would be a challenge. "With the TGI role, the challenge there is to make sure it is appropriate and valuable in a new media environment where there is so much fragmentation. We want to capture all media, including non-traditional media, across the world," added Nazaroff. Nazaroff will report to Kantar CEO Andy Brown, based in London. Chadwick takes over from Nazaroff with a slightly modified job title of insights director, Asia-Pacific, based in Singapore. With 11 years experience in the region, Chadwick has held positions with Grey China/ Hong Kong and Ogilvy & Mather as regional strategic director.
