Naseba to launch two new trade events in Singapore

SINGAPORE Event organiser Naseba is to launch two new international conferences in Singapore, CIO Strategies Asia and the Water Management Congress.

CIO Strategies Asia aims to draw 120 delegates and will take place at Raffles The Plaza Singapore for two days in December. Naseba general manager Annamaria Pagnotta said: "The event has been designed to ensure that CIOs are able to discuss and interact with their peers while solution providers can help the CIOs' corporations to become more efficient and competitive." Akeynote panel discussion starts each day, followed by one-to-one meetings, key panel discussions and networking functions. Pagnotta said: "We are inviting CIOs from medium to large corporations with revenues above 300 million Euros (US$382.6 million). "Each CIO that attends will select one-to-one meeting and keynote discussions of their choice." Water Management Congress is expected to be held in February 2007, drawing 150 delegates who will be decision makers in various stages of project development of water management. Delegates will have the opportunity to meet investment companies to discuss multibillion dollar projects, and explore small or medium-sized investment opportunities. Added Pagnotta: "Asian government representatives from leading countries involved in sustainable energy generation will discuss their water policies and upcoming international laws." High-level delegations will participate in interactive panel discussions, controversial debates and keynote presentations. Participants will stay in Raffles the Plaza and Raffles Hotel. Each delegate is selected after careful pre-qualification. The Congress will focus on global practices for improved water management, one-to-one prescheduled meetings between high-level solution providers and delegates to give them the opportunity to exchange know-how, talk about the characteristics of the water-management market and present information about their firms. There will be networking breakfasts, lunches, dinners and a champagne reception.
