Nair, who launched MindShare's operations in India as its South Asia CEO, takes over from Mark Austin who has been named MEC chairman for EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). As part of the change, Nair will also take over Group M India responsibilities, while the Group M South Asia chairmanship will go to Ashutosh Srivastava, who is currently managing director, MindShare India. Vikram Sakhujam currently managing director, Fulcrum (agency-of-record for Unilever India) will assume Srivastava's MindShare duties. The changes will take place towards the end of the year.
Nair to replace Austin as chairman/CEO of MEC Asia-Pacific
Andre Nair, currently Group M CEO for South Asia, has been named chairman and chief executive officer of MEC Asia-Pacific as well as Group M India chairman.
