Myanmar Airways inks Holiday deal

<p>Holiday Asia has been signed on as the official inflight magazine </p><p>for the new-look Myanmar Airways International. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The airline will purchase 10,000 copies for distribution, with a </p><p>wrap-around cover, in April, July and October. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The purchase will boost the magazine's print run during these months to </p><p>56,000, representing a circulation increase of more than 60 per cent </p><p>over the last ABC audit of 35,644 in 1999, according Venture Asia </p><p>Holdings CEO Vijay Verghese. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>In a separate initiative, starting next month, Holiday will introduce a </p><p>new executive travel section - The Business Travel Guide. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Mr Verghese said it was time to recognise the needs of executive </p><p>travellers in a snappy to-the-point section. "This does not deflect our </p><p>leisure focus but ensures a more rounded appeal," he said. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
