MTV inks deal with S'pore Tourism Board
MTV Networks Asia and the Singapore Tourism Board have formed a strategic alliance until 2009, to showcase Singapore as an Asian family destination, while positioning it as a hub for music, entertainment and events through MTV and Nickelodeon events. The deal is expected to inject S$50 million (US$31 million) into the local economy through tourist receipts, business spending and employment creation. The alliance will feature MTV shows and events, while sister channel Nickelodeon will focus on children and their families.
