MRM Shanghai bolsters digital unit

SHANGHAI - MRM Shanghai is beefing up its digital capability with Kate Clough (pictured) moving from the agency's Minneapolis office to become director of digital communications.

Meanwhile Prashanth Kumar is relocating from India to join MRM as search marketing director, while former Unilever Australia executive Alister Leong arrives as strategic planner.

Other appointments include former Wunderman Beijing creative Eric Sun as creative director to boost the integrated marketing communication team. In addition, Gloria Lam has been promoted to GM of the Shanghai office after two years as client services director from the Beijing branch.

"This move in Shanghai is in line with our strategy of ensuring that we exceed the digital needs of our clients, as well as setting a platform for longer term, sustainable growth in the digital space" said Jason Chau, EVP and managing director of MRM Worldwide Greater China.
