Hot off the heels of a year long tenure as senior VP and MD of
broadcasting and production with Walt Disney Television International
Asia-Pacific, Mr Robin Paxton has been promoted to executive VP and
MD.
During his recent tenure, the Disney Channel launched a regional feed,
with primary markets including the Philippines, Brunei and
Singapore.
In his new role, Mr Paxton is responsible for all aspects of Disney's
television activities in the region, including broadcasting, production
and distribution.
Also at Walt Disney, since assuming the role of regional director of
broadcasting in 1998, Mr Nigel Haunch steps up as VP and MD of
broadcasting.
His core responsibilities will include overseeing broadcasting
infrastructure such as the operations of WDTVI's up-link facilities in
the Lion City.
